It examines the significance of supply chain resilience towards strategic decision-making effectiveness of the Dairy Industry with special focus of mediating variables digital transformation and system integration. An important aspect of managing the challenges in the dairy industry, today is the growing awareness of the need for supply chain resilience. Or however, its direct effect on understanding the decision making has not been very well researched. In this paper, we will study the resilience in the dairy supply chains and the essential determinants which provide strategic decision-making on a tangible basis as well as finding the linkages with the key factors with special regard to the dimensions of digital transformation and inter connect between the systems. The results imply that an increase in supply chain resilience improves strategic decision-making, aided in this process by both digital transformation and system integration. This research provides suggestions on how practitioners in the dairy chain can improve their decision-making and hence their performance by increasing their flexibility on the supply chain side and the digitization of technologies and systems to facilitate better fit between procurement of resources, transformation into dairy products and their delivery to customers. © 2025 IEEE.
