Abstract

The need assessment process measures students' needs to formulate a guidance and counseling program. The assessment process carried out by the Guidance and Counseling teacher includes an environmental assessment and an assessment of student development. However, several Guidance and Counseling teachers indicated that they experienced difficulties developing digital-based assessments that expressly referred to ecological assessments. This study aims at the effect of Hybrid Training to Improve Online Psychological Assessment Skills for Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Kediri City. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative research method with a one-group-posttest-only design. The subjects of this study were 40 counselors from 53 SMA, MA, and SMK in Kediri City. Assessment in this study includes project assessment and skills assessment. Measurements focus on the process and results of training through project assignments, and posttest measurements through skills tests need online review. The study results showed that the participant's skills in the online assessment were quite good in the process of training and the skills of the online need assessment. © 2025 IEEE.
