This study aims to explore the concept of sustainable awareness in coastal communities. The author examines the relationship between environmental literacy and sustainability awareness in the lives of coastal residents. Using a literature review method, this paper investigates ecological literacy's role in building sustainability awareness in coastal communities. It has been discussed and analyzed in the broader context of the growing literature on environmental literacy and sustainable development in coastal communities. © 2025, Institute for Environmental Nanotechnology.
