Abstract

Self-Directed Learning is a key competency that provides the necessary foundation for individuals to adapt to changes in social contexts. This study employed a quantitative research design using a structured survey method involving 100 married women. Data was collected using Pop Survey, a self-service online survey platform developed by Populix. The technique of data analysis engaged in this study is descriptive statistical analysis in order to illustrate the survey data which is in the form of frequency distribution or percentage. Based on the result of the research, the most frequently used device by mothers for self-directed learning is smartphones. The results also showed that mothers are at the level of "very often"for the use of technology in self-directed learning. The presence of technology itself is in the level of "highly motivated"for mothers to develop their skills. The study found that technology for education gives positive impacts to strengthen SDL practices and enable women with multiple social roles pursuing their personal and professional growth. Based on these insights, the further research can consider the development of learning programs aimed at enhancing married women self-development. © 2025 IEEE.
