By the middle of 2021, competitions that were routinely held every year from the lowest to the highest level had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the effectiveness of football school (SSB) training in Indonesia. The research activities carried out were researched using quantitative descriptive methods. This research was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires directly in the field using a Likert scale questionnaire. The research population includes SSBs throughout Indonesia. Determining the number of samples was carried out using the Slovin formula which ultimately resulted in 100 samples from 10 SSBs. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely random sampling without paying attention to context and without distinguishing one sample from another. Sample processing is carried out by classifying the collected data according to standard assessment method references. From the calculated data, the data is then analyzed descriptively with data percentages. Based on research data obtained from two variables, namely the first variable, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the second variable, the effectiveness of SSB training, it is known that on the first variable, the majority of people were asked, namely 31% of respondents answered correctly. Based on these results, soccer school students were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, for the second variable, 33% of respondents answered completely. This means that even though students are being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, soccer training during the COVID-19 pandemic is still quite effective. © Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
