Abstract

Environmental education has a vital role in supporting environmental sustainability. Environmental education will shape knowledge, attitudes, and behavior in environmental conservation. This environmental education can be developed by using technology in the learning process. The technology will provide more attractive, flexible, effective, and efficient learning. Technology can also provide material that is difficult for students to reach. This research aims to describe the technologies used to support environmental education. This research uses a systematic method that combines bibliometric analysis and meta-synthesis. The bibliometric analysis uses co-word analysis with the help of VosViewer. The data used were 770 documents that met the requirements from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases published from 2014 to 2023. Documents were searched using the keywords educational technology and environmental education. The research results show that 14 types of technology can be used for environmental education. Using technology in environmental education can improve students' learning processes, learning outcomes, interests, mo-tivation, and attitudes toward caring for the environment. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
