Abstract

This research is motivated by the urgency of technology integration in technology-based learning. The integration of technology in learning is expected to be able to answer the challenges of skills in the 21st century education framework. One model that is expected to answer these challenges is the cybergogy-based learning model through the application of blended learning with three domains, namely the cognitive domain, the emotional domain, and the social domain. Therefore, this study aims to measure the effectiveness of the Learning Management System (LMS) in online learning. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a 2 x 2 paradigm representing the control class and experimental class as well as male and female genders. The population of this study was grade X students at SMA A in the city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The sample consisted of 36 students in the control class and 36 students in the experimental class. Sampling is done through purposive techniques and school selection is based on the consideration that this school does not yet have and use an LMS in the learning process. The instrument used for data collection is the Measurement and Evaluation Achievement Test (MEAT) which functions as a pretest and posttest in the form of 20 questions in the form of multiple choice compiled by researchers. Based on the findings and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that LMS has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes. Furthermore, the use of LMS in the learning process was shown to improve the performance of male and female students in experimental classes compared to control classes. The implication is that LMS is very effective for improving the quality of learning as well as helping the optimization of technology in the learning process to produce graduates who have 21st century educational skills. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
