Public Speaking Anxiety (PSA) Level is necessary to measure, especially for students. We observed the Public Speaking Anxiety Level of the students based on several psychometric instruments. The psychometric instrument used in this research is based on McCroskey's Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety (PRPSA). Public Speaking Anxiety Level is used with an ordinal scale as the dependent variable in this research. The independent variables used in this research are also based on Bippus and Daly's research: Humiliation, Preparation, Physical Appearance, Rigid Rules, Personality Traits, Audience Interest, Unfamiliar roles, Mistakes, and Negative Results. The data used in this research is obtained from the survey of the students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Padang. Ordinal logistic regression models the Public Anxiety Level based on those independent variables. From the best model, we can conclude that the Public Speaking Anxiety Level of the FMIPA Universitas Negeri Padang students is influenced by Humiliation, Personality Traits, and Mistakes. © 2024 Author(s).
