Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the needs, students, curriculum, and concept to determine how the prototype of the e-comic with the help of proton-electron media. This is a design research study using Plomp model (preliminary re-search) which has 4 sections: need analysis, students’ analysis, curriculum analysis, and concept analysis. The participant of this study is 10 teachers and 21 students from 5 different schools. The instruments to collect the data were interview guideline and students’ characteristic questionnaire. The result of this study is the e-comic with the help of proton-electron media will be develop based on the “Merdeka” curriculum with the addition and subtraction concept as the learning objectives. The comic will contain story about daily life problems around students. Special needs students can access the e-comic wherever and whenever they like. The e-comic will also colorful to make students interest. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
