The coal stockpile at the Loktuan Port - Bontang is on the Makassar Strait Waterway, and its location is not far from residential areas. The local people are used to coal dust and it has been going on for years. The purpose of this research was to determine the environmental impact and the level of public health from the presence of stockpiles. This research is designed as a field study to analyze the health level of the community around the stockpile and measure its impact on the environment. The results of air quality checks for dust and PM whose results exceed the threshold value. Perception of environmental impact socialization at PT. Indominco Mandiri, Loktuan Port - Bontang is very good, information on environmental impact management is not good, the impact of decreasing health is good, improving clean water infrastructure is not good, improving hygiene infrastructure is very good, the impact of environmental pollution is not good, the impact on community tranquility is good, the impact of coal collection is generally good. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
