Carrying out multiliterate activities in language learning and focusing on the process of language skills can directly make students gain knowledge. Currently, students are expected to be multiliterate, to be able to apply their skills to deal with various texts and media. One such knowledge is environmental education. The globalization of environmental problems has become a threat to all lives and this has led people to learn about their responsibilities related to the environment to solve environmental problems. This study seeks to determine students' perspectives and attitudes regarding the environment and the integration of environmental education into the language-learning process. This research is part of development research (Multiliteracy Integrative Learning model) at the stage of preliminary research, especially student analysis. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of twenty-nine (29) questions. 251 respondents filled out the research questionnaire. The results showed that most of the students had implemented environmental care behaviors and that students agreed on the importance of integrating environmental education in the learning process. The majority of kids prefer language instruction to be blended with environmental education. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
