The equation perception of vocational High School students of various ethnicities in the city of Padang on the politeness of the speech act of ordering. This research aims to formulate the equation perception of Vocational students of various ethnicities in the city of Padang on the politeness of the speech act of ordering. This research used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. This study distributes a questionnaire using a google form. The research respondents were 150 vocational high school students in Padang City from Minangkabau, Malay, Riau, Javanese, Batak and Nias ethnic groups. The results of the research showed the equation on perception of politeness in the speech act of ordering vocational school students in the city of Padang as follows: (1) The high category equation are Java and Riau Malay, Riau Malay and Minangkabau, Javanese and Minangkabau (2) The medium category equation are Minangkabau and Batak, Riau Malay and Nias, Minangkabau and Nias, Riau Malay and Batak, Nias and Batak, Batak and Javanese.
