Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of learning with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the mathematical problem-solving skills of elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the research subjects was fifth grade students at SDN 11 Kurao Pagang, Padang. Data were collected through student learning outcomes tests which were then analyzed using t-test. The results of the analysis show that tcount=2.16 and ttable = 1.678. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted with the conclusion, the RME approach influences students' mathematical problem-solving skills in learning mathematics for fifth grade students at SDN 11 Kurao Pagang, Padang. © 2023 Author(s).
