Making mathematical connections is necessary for students to solve Mathematics Problems. Students have difficulty solving mathematical problems because sometimes students demand both the relationship between mathematical concepts and between mathematical concepts and other concepts of other knowledge branches. This research aims to determine the mathematical connection ability of students after applying Problem-based learning with mind-mapping techniques. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research method. The sample of this research is 61 students, consisting of an experimental and a control class. Data is obtained from test results and analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of the t-test, it is obtained that the Asymp value sig. (2-tailed) of 0.008 < α property value of 0.05. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Problem based learning with mind-mapping techniques influence students' mathematical connections. © 2026 Author(s).
