Abstract

Vitamin C can be obtained from green vegetables and fruits, one of which is wheatgrass. Wheatgrass (Triticum aestivum L.) can be processed into food, drinks, and health supplements that are very beneficial for the body. In this study, quantitative analysis was carried out by measuring the levels of vitamin C in wheatgrass extract from four different growing media using the UV-Vis Spectrophotometry method. The planting media used were AB Mix soil, AB Mix husk, soil water and water husk. The statistical analysis obtained p<0.005. It was concluded that there were differences in vitamin C levels of wheatgrass extract (Triticum aestivum L.) from different planting media. The highest levels of vitamin C were in wheatgrass grown on AB Mix husk media 281,274 ppm. © 2023 Author(s).
