One method for achieving instructional goals in the learning process is using a problem-based learning model and rewarding. This model was created to assess students' ability to follow the learning process in elementary linear algebra courses. Students were taught how to think creatively to solve problems involving elementary linear algebra. It could improve conceptual understanding and problem solving using the scientific method's learning model. Because implementing the problem-based learning model and rewarding was effective, it could be classified as suitable for use in elementary linear algebra courses for understanding concepts and solving problems. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
