Abstract

The increasing use of fuel oil energy on motorcycles is the background of this research. The combustion efficiency of a motorcycle engine and also the way of driving affect fuel consumption. The more frequent the driver with high engine speed will increase fuel consumption. Therefore, a control device is needed to encourage the driver to drive in economic conditions. This study aims to design and manufacture an Early Warning Speed Contactless tool on a motorcycle to achieve eco-driving. By using research and development methods, researchers produce premium fuel consumption savings of 6.4% with experimental measurement accuracy of 99.1% and the level of accuracy reaches 99.5% at RPM 1800 to RPM 6800. © 2023 Author(s).
