Technological developments make changes in all aspects of life, therefore all parties are asked to be able to adapt to the circumstances. The world of education is no exception, the world of education is also asked to adapt to technological advances, including the implementation of equality education. Tutors are asked to be able to utilize information and communication technology in learning. For this reason, training is needed in order to support the competence of tutors in utilizing information technology in learning. Based on this, this article was created to see whether the training in the use of information and communication technology that has been followed by tutors can improve the competence of tutors in the use of technology and information in learning. Questionnaires were distributed to 45 equivalence education tutors, with the conclusion that most tutors felt the importance of training activities for equivalence tutors in supporting competence in the use of information and communication technology. Based on this, training activities should continue to be improved to support the competence of tutors in learning. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
