The background of this research is that the clinical supervision has not been carried out properly for various reasons from school supervisors. The results of the 2015 School Supervisor Competency Test nationally showed that the competence of school supervisors was still low, which was at a score of 56.69, in the score range 0-100. This study aims to describe the validation of self-assessment-based clinical supervision instruments. This research method is a type of research and development. The types of data obtained from this study are product validation data, including model books and guidebooks validated by experts, and data from limited trial results given to school supervisors. The data analysis technique used descriptive data in the form of frequency. The results showed that the clinical supervision model based on self-evaluation has a valid category, both from the model book and guidebook. Applying the tool by the observer to the instructor who teaches in the good category is practical. The practicality of the tool is also known from the responses that have followed the training using model books and guides that give very appropriate results. This study concludes that the self-evaluation-based clinical supervision model is practical and effective. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
