The purpose of this research is to determine the best combination and generation of electrical energy from an electromagnetic regenerative shock absorber. The Taguchi approach predicts the optimal dimension between the number of coils, wire diameter, and air gap. Using the design of experiment L9 and plot effect, it was discovered that a combination of 2000 coils with a wire diameter of 0.4 and an air gap of 6 mm may generate the most electrical energy. It was then created and empirically measured based on these findings. As a result, there is a 5% difference between prediction and experimental measurement. © 2023 IEEE.
