Abstract

This study investigates the use of online learning in a higher education inquiry-based collaborative project learning approach. Learning is defined in this study as processes and products that can produce student learning outcomes at the level of higher-order-thinking skills (HOT). The use of digital technology for online learning activities using a web platform that is open and can be modified, and updated on various available plugins such as the use of E-Learning which can be easily accessed by students and lecturers. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) study that incorporates Borg and Gall's development research processes with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) design as a learning model. The research objective is the application of online learning in the Collaborative Project Based Learning (CPjBL) Model using the Inquiry Process in Higher Education assisted by e-learning in the implementation of the model. Using questionnaire data from the Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Management, and Accounting study program, the inquiry method was used to assess the practicality test and the efficacy of the implementation of the CPjBL online learning model. The researcher linked the amount of self-efficacy in sharing content, obtaining knowledge, and being creative with various types of online assistance for e-learning to the collaboration of lecturers and students. The findings indicate that implementing online learning into the inquiry-based CPjBL paradigm is feasible and useful for use in collaborative learning and e-learning-assisted projects. In the context of implementing the E-learning-assisted inquiry-based CPjBL model in project-based learning in higher education, several are provided. © 2023, Auricle Global Society of Education and Research.
