The design of a microcontroller-based fuel consumption measuring device using a water flow sensor and an Arduino Uno is discussed in this study. The goal of this research is to explain how the designed fuel consumption gauge was designed, manufactured, and tested. Furthermore, this project seeks to provide a solution to the problem of how to measure a vehicle's fuel consumption if the vehicle does not match the mileage. According to the findings of research conducted at constant RPMs of1500, 2200, 3000, and non-constant RPMs, the tool's average percentage error was 3.99%, 1.87%, 4.67%, and 26.62%. Based on the percentage of errors obtained after processing and analyzing all data, it is possible to conclude that the microcontroller-based tool designed is only significant when the vehicle RPM is constant. © 2022 IEEE.
