Abstract

This study examines mathematical problem solving in Indonesia through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 204 articles published between 2020 and September 2024. The findings show that research continues to increase except that in 2024 the publication of articles has decreased, with most articles coming from Google Scholar. A commonly used moderator variable was gender, while the most applied theory was Polya. The sample size is often less than 30 subjects, and the most studied education level is junior high school. The research locations are concentrated in Java. © 2026 Author(s).
