Abstract

This study introduces Triadic Fusion—a novel framework that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to create immersive and conversational learning environments. Unlike existing multimodal or cross-technology models, Triadic Fusion is grounded in constructivist, socio-cultural, and cognitive load theories, aligning technological orchestration with pedagogical intent across cognitive, contextual, and communicative domains. Using a mixed-methods approach, we studied 120 students and 10 educators through pre- and post-assessments, surveys, classroom observations, and interviews. The framework was applied across diverse disciplines and educational levels. Results demonstrated that Triadic Fusion significantly enhanced student engagement, content comprehension, and collaborative learning outcomes. Educators reported improvements in personalization and interactive teaching. This research contributes both theoretically and practically by differentiating Triadic Fusion from prior models and demonstrating its empirical benefits. It offers actionable insights for educators, technologists, and policymakers developing the next generation of immersive educational technologies. © 2025 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
