Abstract

Red brick craftsmen in Singguling Village, Lubuk Alung Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency reached more than 100 pieces, almost 90% of red brick craftsmen still used traditional tools, were classified as very simple, and faced with many problems that arose, especially in the fields of production and marketing. Another obstacle often occurs during the rainy season, will be able to slow down the production process. Along with increasing growth in the property sector will increase demand and demand for red bricks in Padang Pariaman Regency. This community service program aims to redesign the red brick molding machine to meet the needs of consumers. This machine is designed to increase production capacity to 6000 bricks per day in comparison with the manual method which is only 500 bricks per day. So it requires more integrated stages starting from the preparation, design, manufacturing, delivery and dissemination of the use of red brick machines to partners of red brick craftsmen in the village of Singguliang. © 2020, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.
