Abstract

This study aims to look at fuel consumption and smoke density diesel engines for power generator using multipurpose fuel (diesel, used oil, oil fame). This study uses experiment and performed on diesel engine 4 stroke single cylinder Yanmar TS 190 H-on generator sets that have been coupled directly with the electrical generator. From this research it is known that the use of waste oils as fuel for diesel engines have an impact on fuel consumption and density of smoke, when compared with diesel and oil fame, used oil is more efficient because the value kalor higher concentrations of smoke from used oil thinner because burn completely. Used oil is able to burn completely because it can be atomized well. © 2020, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.. All rights reserved.
