The effect of jurisprudential inquiry model on civics learning outcomes of elementary students

Abstract

This research is conducted since the students’ participation in learning civics education is very lacking. They are not active in class. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of Jurisprudential Inquiry Model on civicseducation learning outcomes of elementary students grade 4that Elementary Schoolcluster 6, Akabiluruin the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasi-experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. 40 students are selected as the sample of the research out of 92 students. It is found that t count> t table, 1.98> 1.72 with α = 0.05. This result means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can also be concluded that Jurisprudential Inquiry Model affects students’ learning outcome in learning civics education. © 2019, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc..
