Abstract

This study focuses on constructability terms of construction safety. Safety here is not only a occupational safety but within the scope of the safety dimension that worker, property, environmental and public. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the project constructability issues associated with Kelok-9 bridge construction safety problems and evaluate the implementation of the project if the contractor can do the appropriate design and implement construction safety. From these results it can be concluded: Constructability evaluation of the safety construction on the Kelok-9 bridge project quite good but design projects not yet incorporate the experience and knowledge of the construction in terms of construction safety. © 2014 The Authors.
