This research aims to describe the results of an evaluation of the Nagari Ampiang Parak government policy on protecting turtles. This research was conducted at the Turtle Conservation Partners location in Nagari Ampiang Parak, Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research was processed using qualitative analysis techniques, descriptive methods, and data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research results show that the evaluation of the Nagari Ampiang Parak government in turtle protection can be concluded as a whole, and its implementation has not been optimal. One of the six indicators has been achieved well: policy alignment. Meanwhile, the effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, accuracy, and responsiveness indicators have not been achieved well because their delivery and socialization have not been optimal. In the future, the government must focus more on optimizing policy implementation. © 2025 Kasetsart University.
